Loris Lawson Signs Letter of Intent with Bluefield State

Johnston Community College’s Loris Lawson has signed his letter of intent to take his basketball talents to the next level.

 The 6’6” forward will head to Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Va. this fall. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
 

A native of Benin, West Africa, Lawson, who currently lives in Raleigh, thanked JCC for helping him develop as a player over the past year. He is the son of Tevi Lawson and Akoele Lawson.

 “I’ve really improved my game, and I’ve been able to achieve things I never thought I could do here and I really appreciate it,” Lawson said. “Now I’m just ready to take things to the next level.”
 

Lawson will join fellow Jaguar Tymel Blue at Bluefield State
